We have 4 drop off locations in Port O’Connor.
Rules
- Guided kayak tours are not available.
- Regular rental rates are in 4 hour increments.
- We collect payment for the first 4 hours upfront, any extra time is charged upon your return in 4 hour increments.
- Rentals are first come, first served.
- Life jackets are included in your rental.
- All participants must review the Boating Safety Rules.
- All ages are welcome and all kayakers MUST know how to swim.
- Children under the age of 14:
- Rental of a Tandem Kayak is REQUIRED for anyone under the age of 14
- A parent / legal guardian must sign the rental waiver
- Children must wear a life jacket at all times
- An adult must be present IN THE SAME KAYAK for the duration of their ride.
- Minors ages 14-17:
- May kayak without a parent in the same kayak
- A parent / legal guardian must sign the rental waiver
- Minors must wear a life jacket at all times
- A parent / legal guardian must be near the minor kayakers at all times in an adult kayak, if not the same kayak.
- No drop-offs will happen later than 3:00 pm or before 8:00 am. Overnight rentals are permitted: cost is in 8-hour increments by special request.
- Please leave your valuables at home.
- DO NOT leave valuables in your vehicle.
- We will happily hold your keys for you while you are on the water, but are unable to hold any other personal items.
- Bring water or other drinks in non-glass containers, preferably reusable containers.
- Don’t forget the sunscreen. It is best to apply it before you arrive.
- Please drink responsibly, use the provided trash bag, and remember Game wardens will ticket you for littering.
- Please check the tides and winds before you leave to know what to expect.
- Rental boats and/or equipment may not be transported or used outside a 25 mile radius of Port O'connor, TX
